Abandon des frères Bryan

Les jumeaux Bryan ont été contraints de renoncer et d’abandonner au début de leur finale face à la paire Peya/Mektic. À 5–3 dans le premier set, Bob était touché à la hanche, entraî­nant le premier abandon en carrière des frères améri­cains. Peya et Mektic remportent leur deuxième titre, le premier en Masters 1000.
