La Suissesse a annoncé l’information par le biais de son compte Twitter : « J’ai dû subir une opération à mon poignet gauche et je serai absente plusieurs mois. Ce n’était pas une décision facile, mais après une réflexion avec mon équipe et les médecins, nous avons décidé de le faire. Résoudre ce problème m’aiderait à prolonger et améliorer ma carrière pendant plusieurs années. » Une décision finalement logique pour une joueuse qui a été embêtée ces derniers mois par son poignet gauche.
