Johanna Konta, tout juste demi‐finaliste à Roland‐Garros, ne participera pas au WTA International de Nottingham. La Britannique a annoncé sur Twitter qu’elle ne s’y rendrait pas, probablement suite à la fatigue accumulée lors de sa quinzaine parisienne. Ce forfait permet à Caroline Garcia de passer comme tête de série n°1. A noter qu’Ashleigh Barty a également officialisé son retrait, sans vraiment de surprise.
Hey everyone, unfortunately I won’t be playing In Nottingham this year.
